MM  100 : Technique

The Meulensteen Method 100 Certification Course is an 6-hour course that will provide coaches the tools to successfully coach technique, its application to the game, and how to provide the best training environment for youth players. This is accomplished through a combination of theoretical and practical learning sessions. The curriculum focuses on youth players, the vital role of technical training, and how it relates to developing creative, confident players.

9am – 10:30am           Theoretical I

10:30am – 12:00pm   Practical I

  • Fast Feet

  • 1v1 Component 1

  • 1v1 Component 2


12:00pm – 1:00pm  Lunch

1:00pm – 2:30pm    Practical II

2:30pm – 3:45pm    Theoretical II

  • Meulensteen Method Ages and Stages Development Overview –

  • Coaching a player centered activity

  • Player Centered Coaching  

  • Repetition & Success

  • Encourage the Will, Compliment the Skill

  • Coaching the Small Sided Games (SSG)

    • Cooking different meals

    • Tips for mixing the ingredients

    • What to do when you are stuck

Certificate after completion. 

The Meulensteen Method 100 Certification is open to all applicants.


Candidate attendance is mandatory for all events in order to receive certification.

Coaches are encouraged, but not required, to participate in the activities when able.

Full payment is required at time of registration. Course cancellation requests made 14 days prior to the course start date may request a refund less a $35.00 cancellation fee. Course cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the course start date, regardless of circumstance or any candidate who fails to attend for any reason, will forfeit 100% of the program fee.
